unpaid
work experience sandwich course (for all nationalities)
The WIDSP (Work and
Induvual Development
Sandwich Programme) is a specially designed sandwich
course for those who want to combine a course of study
with an unpaid work experience placement/internship.
It is open to all nationalities and is also suitable
for applicants with a slightly lower level of English,
although the intermediate level is required by the
time they are about to start working in their
placement.
The course elements are
structured around learning valuable employment skills
and also the improvement of their English proficiency.
Placements are arranged
in areas suitable to applicant’s educational
background and interests. In addition, they can work
towards one of the following English Language
Qualifications: TOEIC, IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC
Preliminary, BEC Vantage and BEC Higher.
