Happy
Kids is an institute which is
specialized to organize and carry out model projects in
the context/scope of Leonardo da Vinci. Happy
Kids works together with training
providers as well as with small and medium-sized
enterprises of the free economy. Furthermore

· 6 different levels, 20 lessons/week
· 4 lessons daily - Small groups: max. 8 students
· Students are placed in different classes according to their level
· Teaching levels according to the European Reference Frame
· Special Department (DAC) to organize Cultural and Leisure
Activities for the students.
· All teachers are native speakers
· Videos, tapes and discussions
The fields of this course will depend on the language
level, but basically it includes:
- Grammar,
- Oral and written exercises,
- Improving vocabulary
- Compositions
- Conversation - discussions about Turkish speaking countries
- Introduction to Turkish culture, history and literature
- Comments on newspapers
- Turkish music and folklore
- Preparing participants in their sectors, before their work placement.
- Special extra teaching support for students with learning difficulties.
Assesment:
Participants' progress is continuously assessed through homework,
assignments and final examination. Class attendance is obligatory. A Diploma is
awarded certifying the type of programme; amount of hours studied and completed
level of proficiency at the successful completion of the programme.

We create programmes upon request and

Price includes, the above selected options
with 24 hours supervision, certificate, evaluations,
meetings...
The program offers full board (breakfast, lunch and
dinner). Food allowance will be given to the
participants for the respective meals if not offered
by the family or the employer. (after
agreement with the sending organisation)
A monthly public transport card will be given to the
participant when needed to reach the school or work
place. In addition transportation from the airport /
train Station to the school and back is covered by the
program for each participant. (after agreement
with the sending organisation)
Pick-up from the bus, train station or airport,
to your accommodation is provided if selected.
Details of your arrival such as the date, time and
place are required at least 10 days before your
arrival.
After the course and internship each
participant will get a detailed description and
evaluation regarding the content and success
of the course and traineeship from his/her teacher and
employer.

We offer placements in various institutions from
industrial, business, educational and non-profit
sectors.
After participation in a language course (or
just from the beginning, if language course is
not wished), the students have the possibility
to be placed in various companies operating in
many different sectors, e.g.:

Placements
The main factors influencing the work placement
of applicant are: knowledge of English (if
applicable Turkish), subject of LdV Project,
previous professional experience, education and
length of the internship.
During the placement there
will be a tutor assigned to the participant. He
will help the student at work and assist in
writing of the report.
The work placement can be
change only after presenting important reasons
by the participant.
The attendance and
punctuality at work are obligatory. Breaking
those rules can be a cause of dropping out of
the programme.
At the end of the programme
the participant will write a final report
relying on the information and experience gained
during preparation course, from tutor and from
the employer.
Certification
At the end of the programme the participants
will receive a work reference from their
employer. The placements will be also certified
separately by Happy Kids which will
confirm student's participation in the project
as well as in the language course.
Turkish language course
Happy Kids
gives the participants the
opportunity to learn Turkish. We organize
intensive Turkish language courses, which main
aim is to familiarize with the language.
The Turkish language course focuses on Turkish
vocabulary, grammar, reading, conversation and
writing.
Fees depend on the number of students in a group
and length of the course. The time of classes is
arranged individually with the arriving groups.

Happy Kids organizes English courses preparing
participants to their placements. Thus the
profile of the course can be flexibly adjusted
to the subject of the project and level of
participants.
Work placement preparation
programme
If wished, we organize work placement
preparition programme for the beneficiaries
which allows them to adapt easier to new
environment and to ease the effect of culture
shock connected with changing the country of
stay.
Monitoring
We manage, monitor and evaluate the placements.
We assure 24 hours supervision and weekly
meetings with our trainees.
Culture programme
Leisure activities are organised by Happy Kids
according to the partner's wish. The students
will have the opportunity to take part in
various excursions which will let them learn
something about Turkey. Ankara is the capital of
Turkey The culture programme is
additionally paid and fee depends on its content.
Accommodation in Ankara
Beneficiaries will be placed in student houses
or in apartments with other foreign students (shared
rooms, bathroom, kitchen, pensions, dormitories
or hotels).
We ensure the accommodation near to the public
transport stops what allows students to get
easily to their places of work.
Maintenance (board)
The beneficiaries will get the pocket money for
the meals.
Local transportation, arrival /
departure transport services
The beneficiaries will get a public transport
card to reach the work place.
Additionally, during the first and last day of
stay in Ankara, we offer transportation from /
to the Airport, Railway Station or Bus Station.
Please, give the details of the arrival at least
2 weeks before coming to Ankara.
